LEOSA QUALIFIcation
LEOSA or The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act concerns the carrying of firearms by qualified current and retired law enforcement officers.
Step before qualification
- Be sure to bring a copy of your retired law enforcement ID with you
- Create a profile on Acadis
- Complete CJTC Application

- Range appropriate clothing
- A semi-auto handgun with 3 magazines, dual magazine carrier, with a quality holster that covers the trigger and that allows re holstering using only one hand.
***OR***
- A 6 or more shot revolver with at least 3 speed loading devices, speed loader holders, and a quality holster that covers the trigger and that allows re holstering with one hand.
- 100 rounds ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Water, food/energy bars (optional)
